Isles of Scilly - AONB

The AONB Partnership

Statutory responsibility for the care of the AONB resides with the Council of the Isles of Scilly. However, a broad range of organisations form the AONB Partnership and work to look after it. They develop and implement a management plan and a delivery plan for the AONB.

Funding Partners

The AONB Partnership gains the bulk of its funding through Defra (Department for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs) which provides 75% of annual running costs. Other funding partners are the Council of the Isles of Scilly, The Duchy of Cornwall, Tresco Estate and the Isles of Scilly Wildlife Trust.
