The Isles of Scilly AONB ran a photographic competition during the month of November 2009 to coincide with the 28day public consultation of the AONB Management Plan 2009-2014. Additionally we wanted to raise awareness of the AONB designation and extend the AONB image library; therefore all competition entries have be added to the image library and will be considered for use not only in the AONB Management Plan 2009-2014 but in future publicity material, including the AONB website.
The competition closed Friday 4th December and on Monday December 6th, the judging panel (consisting of Adam White, Alistair MacNichol and Phillip Hygate) met to scale down the 126 images to 15. These 15 entries are available now for your vote. Help us determine the best 5 to be awarded prizes from our fantastic sponsors. These include dinner bed and breakfast for two at Hell Bay Hotel on Bryher, return flights to the Mainland for two, a Seasalt voucher, a family pass to the Eden project and a Phoenix Glass studio voucher.
