Headlands

Headlands are relatively exposed heath that occurs on all the inhabited Islands and many of the uninhabited islands. They include windswept headlands such as Shipman Head Down on Bryher, lower south facing heads on Gugh and St Agnes, and the fortified Garrison Headland on St Mary’s.
